Summary: Recently, famine and drought have plagued Hyrule. When all seemed lost, a mysterious wizard, Agahnim, appeared, and stopped these strange happenings from occurring. But there is talk that Agahnim now rules the country with his magic, behind the scenes. And then, one night, the Princess of Hyrule, Zelda, calls out for help - and the one who hears her pleas is a young lad named Link.
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past is a top-down action game with puzzle-solving elements (similar to the original Legend of Zelda). Players assume the role of Link, and their goal is to rescue Princess Zelda and save the land of Hyrule. All combat in the game is action-oriented - the player can make the protagonist swing the sword at enemies with a press of a button, or spin the sword around for a more powerful attack by holding down the button until it is charged.
Progression through the game is done by conquering a series of dungeons - each dungeon has its own special item associated with it, such as the hookshot (which latches onto a far-off object and pulls Link across) or the hammer (which can be used to flatten objects in your way). Most of these dungeons are rendered impassable until the dungeon's particular item is acquired; from there, the rest of the dungeon becomes accessible due to Link's latest new ability. The bosses of each dungeon are also themed to that level's particular item.
Link starts out with only three units of health; however, these can be increased by defeating dungeon bosses, which give one additional heart container, or by finding four 'pieces of heart'; which can be given for anything from passing a small trial to winning a mini-game. Some of Link's items also use magic - this can be refilled with collectible green magic pots. After defeating the initial three dungeons, Link gains access to the Dark World - many puzzles and difficulties come from alternating between the Light World (Hyrule) and the Dark World to make his way past previously impassable obstacles.

Summary: The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past/Four Swords features two games, a port of the SNES game The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past and a new multiplayer adventure called Four Swords.
A long time ago in Hyrule, there was a hero who used a legendary sword (which is called "Four Sword") to defeat a sorcerer called Vaati and trapped him into the sword. After the battle, people built a shrine to protect the Four Sword.
Several years later, princess Zelda noticed that Vaati might have escaped from the blade of the Four Sword. She asked Link to come to the Four Sword shrine to check with her. As soon as they came there, Vaati captured Zelda and carried her away.
Some little fairies later told Link that princess Zelda was at Vaati's palace up on the sky. In an attempt to recuse Zelda, Link dragged the Four Sword and it created three more Links! The Links then began their adventure to save Zelda...
Four Swords requires from two to four players. There are five levels (a training level, three main levels and Vaati palace-an unlockable level). During the game, players must collect as many Ruppees as possible while solving puzzles and defeating enemies. When enough Ruppees are collected, the Great Fairy will give the players a key to open the unlockable level. At the end of each level, the one who collects the most Ruppees will be the winner.
When any of the players dies, the number of Ruppees collected will decrease. The more times a Link dies, the more Ruppees are lost. The game is over when there are not enough Ruppees to revive any Link.

Summary: Long ago in the kingdom of Hyrule, an evil sorcerer began kidnapping young maidens. This sorcerer was known as Vaati, and it seemed that no one could stop him. Eventually an adventurer appeared who was able to defeat Vaati. This adventurer carried with him the four sword which caused him to be split into four beings, and by working together the four beings were able to seal Vaati deep within the earth. But now Vaati has escaped, and the task of defeating him again has fallen to Link!
This action adventure game is played from a top down point of view. There are a variety of often maze-like lands to explore (some above ground and others below) as well as a variety of enemies to defeat. Since Link is now in possession of the four sword, there are four Links on the screen. In order to complete the various stages, the four Links will often need to work together in order to solve puzzles and defeat the many enemies. The four links are able to form several different formations, such as a line or square. The formations help the Links perform actions that couldn't be done by one, like moving heavy objects or defeating numerous enemies. At the beginning of each stage, the four sword will be weak in power; to replenish the swords power, force gems must be collected (which can be found hidden in various locations or by defeating enemies). At the end of each stage is a dark magic barrier, and the only way to destroy it is by a four sword which has been completely restored. The game can be played by one to four players, however there will always be four links on the screen. In multi-player games each player will control one of the Links and will need to connect with a Game Boy Advance which is used both to control the game as well is provide each player with their own display when their Link is inside a house or in a cavern.
In addition to the adventure mode, a multi-player battle mode is included where four Links fight to see who wins.

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D Nintendo 3DS

Series: The Legend of Zelda
Summary: Following in the footsteps of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, Majora's Mask 3D is an enhanced remake of the Nintendo 64 game The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. It keeps the same story as the original: while riding Epona through the Lost Woods in search of an invaluable lost friend, Link is ambushed by a Skull Kid and two fairies, who steal Epona and the Ocarina of Time. Upon catching up with them, Skull Kid turns Link into a Deku Scrub and flees, but one of the fairies, Tatl, is left behind and starts traveling with Link. Emerging in a new realm called Termina, Link is informed by the Happy Mask Salesman that Skull Kid has stolen a precious mask from him, the evil and powerful Majora's Mask. Link then learns that the moon is falling onto Termina's central city, Clock Town, and he only has three days to stop it.
Aside from graphical upgrades, some story and quest related features are reordered, removed, or expanded, and a few new features are added, such as two Fishing Holes, one near Southern Swamp and another at Zora Cape. Boss fights are also altered, with new weak points added in the form of a large eye resembling those on Majora's Mask. Using the old strategies won't work this time. Saving is also different. Playing the Song of Time to return to the Dawn of the First Day no longer automatically saves the game. Instead, the game must be saved at Owl Statues, which no longer force the player to suspend gameplay, or Quill Statues, which can save the game, but can't be warped to.

Series: The Legend of Zelda
Summary: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D is a graphically enhanced remake of the Nintendo 64 version. The game has undergone some major changes. The graphics update and the addition of 3D-effects is the biggest one. The touchscreen is now used to replace the old menu which required the player to push the start button, now the player can simply select an item by touching it on the screen. There is also the gyroscopic technology which allows the player to aim by moving the system, this makes it easier to use weapons like boomerangs and slingshots. The game also contains the Master Quest version and a new "boss challenge" mode. For the newcomers there is also a feature called "visions" that show the player how to complete certain tasks.
Story-wise the game has remained the same: Link is a young boy who lives in the Kokiri Forest, but is one day called to arms by the Deku Tree who tells him to leave the forest and find Princess Zelda. Link is told that he must stop the evil Ganondorf from taking over Hyrule. The game still has the same puzzles and the only change is that the Stone of Agony has been replaced by a "Shard of Agony" which does the same thing. The Master Quest is a version of the game with a mirrored world, new puzzles and stronger enemies, but was already released on the Nintendo Gamecube.

Summary: Twilight Princess is the first Legend of Zelda game for the Wii and also the last for GameCube. At first Link is a simple farm boy, whose tasks consist of herding goats to watching children in Ordon village, Link's home town. One day, Link is asked by the mayor to run an errand in Castle Town, but things sudden go wrong…
The land becomes dark, and strange creatures appear from another world called the Twilight Realm, which turns most into ghosts. Link, however, becomes a wolf. After becoming a wolf, Link is aided by Midna, a resident of the Twilight Realm. Midna helps Link find a way to turn human again along with other tasks.
The wolf cannot use a sword or other items. Instead, as a wolf Link must use his senses to solve puzzles and get past obstacles. The beast can also dig holes to find hearts and rupees and to get in places. It can push blocks with its head to climb higher or reveal hidden passageways. Additionally, it can attack enemies by biting or pouncing on them.
As a human, Link can move around quickly, aim his bow, swing his sword, and even fish. Link also collects many different items, which allow him to perform varied attacks and reach places he couldn't before. Link performs many attacks with his sword and can even learn other sword moves.
The game's art is similar to the naturalistic style of Ocarina of Time, rather than the cel-shaded look of The Wind Waker. Chronologically, the game takes place between the two aforementioned titles and quite a few locations from Ocarina of Time can be visited. The main adventure takes place in several provinces with dungeons and temples. With the help of Midna, you can easily travel around quickly later in the game.

Summary: Your task is to rescue the Lemmings across 120 levels of fast-paced puzzling. These creatures simply walk blindly through the world in the hope of reaching safety at the end of the level - unfortunately these levels include steep drops, gaps in the ground, barriers and rivers amongst other hazards.
You are in control not of any individual Lemming, but of a cross-hair, which can be moved over any of the Lemmings. Along the bottom are a selection of functions which can be assigned to a Lemming, including climbing, floating and bashing. You must click to select the appropriate function, then click on the Lemming to activate it. Summary: LittleBigPlanet is a puzzle platformer where the player controls sackboys. It takes the characters on an adventure through levels with different themes and settings, trying to reach the end of each level alive. The platforming is based entirely on physics where the sackboys can push or pull items, or generally manipulate them with their movement or weight. In addition to running, jumping, pushing and pulling, it is also necessary to master grabbing dangling objects and swinging from them to get over some obstacles and traps.
The game can be played by up to four players simultaneously with some puzzles requiring more than one player to be solved. Levels consists of three planes: foreground, middle, and background, which can be traversed.
Next to the main game with about 50 levels, a large portion is devoted to creating user generated content. Players can design their own levels and devise custom rules. The objects used to build up the levels are largely based on the characteristics of real world materials emulated by the physics engine.
During the course of a level, stickers can be picked up for (mostly) decorative purposes or new items used to dress up the sackboys or for inclusion in the player's own levels. User created content can be shared via the PlayStation Network.

There are 13 different types of races, ranging from Motorways to night-time to sections punctuated by roadworks, and some are lap-based with others being simple A-B. 2 players could play on a split screen mode.
The game's crowning glory, however, was the RECS editor, which allowed you to create courses of your own, with theoretically millions possible.
