Summary: This is the third installment in the puzzle frenzy series Magical Drop. In the game you control a clown who throws marbles up on the screen into the cluster of multi-colored marbles, rocks and crystals. The goal is to get three or more of the same color to remove marbles, but you can also grab more than one at the time to create long chain combos and gain better "special" blocks at the top of the screen.
You can play the game in single player modes or versus a friend in versus mode. In versus mode you get to pick your character, much like in a fighting game, each with their own counter attacks and abilities.
For the PSX version, the first Magical Drop was included on a separate disc.

Summary: Mario Kart 7 (マリオカート7 Mario Kāto Sebun?)[2] is a 2011 racing video game in the Mario Kart series, developed by Nintendo EAD and Retro Studios and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo 3DS handheld game console.[2] The game was released worldwide in early December 2011.[3] Mario Kart 7 is the most recent iteration in the Mario Kart series, following Mario Kart Wii from 2008. Similar to previous games in the series, players participate in go-kart racing on various Mario-themed tracks, playing as one of seventeen different Mario characters. While racing, the players make use of power-up items that hinder opposing characters. New additions to the game include hang-gliding attachments for karts, the ability to drive underwater, and the ability to fully customize the vehicles' builds.[4] Mario Kart 7 supports both local and online multiplayer for up to eight players.[5] Mario Kart 7 received positive reception, gaining aggregate critical scores of 85 and 84.96% on MetaCritic and GameRankings respectively.

There are now up to 56 characters to use (most you have to unlock), including new characters like Jill Valentine from Resident Evil and Tron Bonn from Mega Man Legends.

Summary: Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds is a fighting game focused on many characters under the Marvel and Capcom licenses. They are split half and half between Marvel and Capcom characters, and the roster features characters that most everyone will know, such as Captain America, Dante, Deadpool, Phoenix, and many more. The game has an online and offline mode. In the latter, you can challenge the computer (in Arcade or Versus), or challenge a friend locally, as well as complete missions to learn the characters movesets. In the online mode, you can challenge online friends, and random strangers, as well as completing special events. The storyline is different for every character in Arcade mode, having your team fight through 6 battles to reach the final stage, and whoever strikes the killing blow on that stage is the ending you receive. Each character ending presents their own motivations, and helps to unlock the many extras this game has to offer.

Summary: Mass Effect is an action role-playing game, developed by BioWare for the Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows by Demiurge Studios. The Xbox 360 version was released worldwide in November 2007, published by Microsoft Game Studios. The Microsoft Windows version was released on May 28, 2008, published by Electronic Arts.
The game takes place in the year 2183, with the player assuming direct control of an elite human soldier named Commander Shepard and setting out to explore the Galaxy on a starship, the SSV Normandy. The titular "mass effect" is a form of inertia-suppressing technology, allowing faster-than-light travel.
A sequel, Mass Effect 2, was released on January 26, 2010, and takes place two years after the events of the first game. Mass Effect 2 also directly uses players' completed save data from the first game to influence events and storylines within the second game, basing certain events and narrative threads on decisions and actions that the player made in the first game.

Summary: As a result of Commander Shepard's affiliation with the Cerberus organisation in the past, he or she is removed from active service by the Alliance military upon returning to Earth. It is at this point that the alien machine race known as the Reapers launch an all-out assault on the planet. The Defense Committee asks Shepard for assistance, and Captain Anderson re-installs him as a member of the Alliance and Commander aboard his old ship, the Normandy. While Anderson stays on Earth, trying to hold its defenses against the overwhelming power of the Reapers, Shepard is sent to the Citadel to convince the galactic council to provide military aid for the struggling planet, and unite the alien races in a battle against the common enemy.
Mass Effect 3 is the third game in the series and forms the final part of the trilogy. As with previous games in the series, gameplay combines tactical, squad- and cover-based third-person combat with role-playing, in the form of different classes, customizable upgrades and dialogue choices. As with the second part of the trilogy, save files from the previous games can be imported with decisions being made in the first two games having an effect on the new situations.
In addition to combat difficulty selection, the player is offered a choice of three modes before starting the game. The "action" mode bypasses conversation choices, displaying them as non-interactive cutscenes; the "story" mode keeps choices intact, but lowers combat difficulty. The "role-playing" mode reflects most closely the gameplay of the two previous games, containing both choices and more challenging combat.
Most of combat-related and character development features have been carried out from the preceding installment. Melee combat plays a somewhat larger role: certain classes possess the ability to execute powerful charged close-combat moves. Weapons can be modified with two enhancements each, gaining more firepower, large magazines, increased accuracy, etc. Like before, abilities and powers can be upgraded when leveling up; each of them now offer two upgrade choices per level, and selecting one of them will lock the other enhancement permanently.
Entirely new to the series is a multiplayer option in the form of the co-op game mode Galaxy at War. It involves up to four players cooperatively taking over enemy strongholds. Players can take part in Galaxy at War as any race in the game's universe.

Max Payne 3 PlayStation 3

Summary: Max Payne 3 is the third main game in the series and takes place a good few years after the events of the previous entries. Following his work as a DEA agent and a New York City Police Department detective, protagonist Max Payne moves from Hoboken, New Jersey to São Paulo, Brazil. Looking for a new life and to leave his past behind, he works in a private security detail for Rodrigo Branco. When Branco's wife Fabiana is captured by a street gang during a rooftop party, Payne sets out to save her but the events quickly spiral out of control. He still drinks heavily and even though the drawn comic book panels are no longer present, the cut-scenes still incorporate the panel look and now further the story using the in-game engine with the characteristic inner dialogue voice-over and the film noir elements. Halfway through the game Payne also exchanges his typical suit or trench coat for a bearded, short-haired look wearing a shirt. Compared to the previous game and because of the location the visuals are also often much brighter.
The game is played as a third-person shooter where Payne is often outnumbered by enemies. To survive, the series' prime bullet time mechanic is essential. Activating it slows down time and it allows him to jump, dodge, shoot, and lock onto multiple enemies in succession to take them out. Its length is determined by a bar on the right that needs some time to fill up again. While in a grounded position after a jump Max stays in that position and can quickly shoot in any direction. Defeated opponents leave behind weapons that can be exchanged or be emptied for additional ammo. Multiple weapons can be collected and through a radial menu another one can be selected quickly. Payne is also able to dual-wield pistols and he uses shotguns and automatic weapons. The gameplay incorporates a cover mechanic where cover can be sought near virtually any object. From that safe position it is possible to aim and shoot, or jump out. To survive, cover needs to be used constantly and specific body parts such as head shots are often required to dispose of enemies quickly. Health is shown through an outlined figure on the right. As Max gets shot, it fills up red. To avoid dying he has to pick up and swallow painkillers that come in small supplies.
Certain objects in the environment can be examined for clues and flashing buttons can be shot to open doors and gates. For cinematic effect there is a bullet camera that follows the projectile until impact. The player can manually slow down the camera and rotate, and then continue shooting. Not all of the story is told in chronological order. Some parts are played from flashbacks and next to locations such as restaurants, clubs, rooftops, docks, hotels and the favelas, there are sequences where Max shoots from a helicopter or while on a boat racing on a river. Many times cut-scenes seamlessly turn into gameplay scenes. Next to the main objectives the shooting style is rewarded through grind achievements and optional golden gun parts can be collected to form sets. The main scenario is supplemented with an arcade mode, and the New York Minute mode unlocked after completing the game once.
Multiplayer is entirely new to the series. Next to regular deathmatch games it has a Gang Wars team mode based around gaining experience, using perks, defining custom loadouts, etc. The games include variants of capture-and-hold and capture-the-flag. It also incorporates the bullet time mechanic where activating it affects every opponent in the character's line-of-sight. Crews that are set up through Rockstar's Social Club environment can be carried over to different games.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance Xbox 360
Region: PAL
Date Added: 29 May 2015
Summary: Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is an installment in the Metal Gear series and set four years after the events of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. The gameplay is very different from most of the other games in the series, with fast-paced action gameplay similar to Platinum Games' own MadWorld or the Devil May Cry series. The protagonist is the cyborg ninja Raiden, who was previously the main character in Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty. After the shadow organization The Patriots was destroyed in MGS4, the various private military companies have turned into developing cyborg superhumans. Raiden is one of them, working mostly in security for PMC Maverick Securities with his colleagues Boris, Courtney, Doktor, Kevin and Sunny. During one of the assignments securing the safety of an African prime minister, the rival PMC Desperado Enterprises interferes and kills the politician. Raiden is badly damaged, but eventually returns to investigate Desperado's plans. Through different chapters Raiden has to defeat the members and various cyborgs as powerful as himself.
The gameplay is based on hack-and-slash. Raiden's primary weapon is a high-frequency blade used to string together combos based on light and heavy attacks. Later on other weapons can be acquired after defeating bosses for new attacks. Secondary weapons can be picked up for other attacks, such as rocket launchers, missiles and grenades. He can also enter a bullet time blade mode where very precise slices can be executed. This is used to target and cut off specific limbs, as well as perform a zandatsu. The latter enables him to cut off and retrieve body parts that contain digital information or items, or grab the enemy's power units that resembles a blue spine. When performed successfully, all health and fuel cells are restored. These fuel cells are required to activate the blade mode, but the bar can also be filled by collecting electrolytes from defeated enemies and through general attacks. Blade mode is also used to destroy parts of the environment or to remove an enemy's armor. In additional a ninja mode can be activated to run much faster, deflect incoming bullets and initiate other attacks such as dashes and slides. These can further be strung together by jumping into the air to continue the combo. This ninja mode is also used in the same way as in Assassin's Creed III to run, jump, slide and climb automatically over and under obstacles and buildings. Eventually the ripper mode is acquired with more power to access the blade mode.
Compared to the earlier games stealth is of minor importance. Levels consist of different linear sections with some minor exploration. At certain moments it is possible to approach an enemy from behind to do a ninja kill, attack with a one-hit kill from above, or to sneak past security cameras. Later on drum cans and cardboard boxes can be used to hide as well. Raiden can also throw a photo frame to create a holographic distraction. A visor can be activated to view items chests in the environment, the next goal and the position of enemies. Many levels have cut-scenes and interactive sequences, sometimes with quick time events, that have Raiden run over bridges and walls, or hopping from one rocket to another to engage a helicopter in the air, often with over-the-top violence.
While playing a separate menu is used to communicate with the other team members. The in-game currency consists of battle points that can be spent on new body armor, better health and fuel abilities, enhancements for weapons, and new skills that provide additional moves in general or for specific weapons. While playing hidden chests can be located to unlock up to 30 virtual reality missions that are played outside the story mode. Other hidden chests offer concept art through a collection menu.
The PC version of this game includes the Blade Wolf DLC, Jetstream DLC VR Missions, Cyborg Ninja DLC and several pre-order bonus skins for the main character. Additionally it features a "cutscene" and "codec" menu for easy access to those and has the boss battles selectable directly without playing the chapters.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain PlayStation 4
Region: PAL
Date Added: 24 Jan 2018
Summary: Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is a third-person action game with a focus on stealth and the final game in the Metal Gear series. Canonically it is the fifth game in the series, but it is the eleventh main installment overall. It is the sequel to Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes released the year before and a prequel to the original Metal Gear. The gameplay borrows and expands upon most of the mechanics introduced in Ground Zeroes, which was a smaller slice in content in anticipation of this title. The game is set in 1984 with Big Boss also known as Punished "Venom" Snake as the protagonist. It takes place in Afghanistan and the border between Angola and Zaire as Big Boss seeks revenge against the Cipher group led by Skull Face who destroyed his forces and almost killed him in Ground Zeroes. At the start of the game he wakes up in a military hospital in Cyprus and is almost immediately attacked by soldiers and a strange, burning creature. Eventually he is rescued by Ocelot, he locates Kaz Miller and the trio then establishes a base to hunt down Cipher and its covert strike force XOF with commander Skull Face.
The game has a complex story with the typical long cut-scene sequences, but there are fewer and they are shorter compared to earlier Metal Gear Solid titles. Most of the gameplay mechanics introduced in Ground Zeroes are carried over. It is still an action game and stealth oriented, but replaces the linear corridor design from most earlier titles with large open world environments that offer the player unrestricted freedom for the approach. Ground Zeroes only offered a single environment, while this game has many and brings back the base building feature from Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. To access advanced tools and weapons, Big Boss needs to complete missions for Miller so he can expand the main Mother Base. The player needs to focus on a consistent flow of the GMP currency to manage the base, research new technologies, hire soldiers and use money during missions for instance to call in an air strike. Next to merely completing missions, a Fulton technology can be used to transport back items, weapons, vehicles and even soldiers with interesting abilities to the Mother Base to use them. Soldiers can be assigned to different teams for combat, research or gathering intel. Eventually they can be sent out to complete missions on their own, providing additional GMP. A companion app on a real smartphone can be used to manage the base as well.
The game world has a real-time day and night cycle and various weather effects that influence enemy behaviour, visibility and sound, for instance with rain and sandstorms. Sabotaging or destroying certain structures can also influence other parts of the map. There are large distances to travel with different vehicles. Big Boss can travel on foot, on horseback or use a plane, a motorcycle, a patrol vehicle, a tank or a helicopter. Missions can be played entirely as an action game, but a large amount of mechanics and rewards are based around stealth. He can run, sneak and crawl along with scouting enemy patterns. It is possible to render guards unconscious, kill them or use sound to lure some in a certain direction. Enemies have various alert statuses and will investigate or trigger alarms when they are suspicious or find bodies or destroyed security cameras, changing their patrol routes. There are many entry points going underground, through gates or finding an entry by climbing. Optionally it is possible to take out enemies from far using a sniper rifle or by smuggling an explosive device into the base to blow it up.
With each new technology new options become available, introducing drones, special types of weapon enhancements, a taser, echolocation and so on. Many types of buddies are provided over time, accompanying Big Boss, with various upgrade options. Initially there is his horse D-Horse, but later on also the wolf pup D-Dog, the female sniper Quiet, and the mobile weapons platform D-Walker. Next to the main missions there are several boss battles against powerful characters. A multiplayer mode allows players to build a second Mother Base, called the Forward Operating Base. It complements the main single-player game to gather resources and expand it, but it can be attacked by other players who will try to steal resources. Players defend their own base and can attack others. This can happen in the middle of a story mission and it is possible to quickly call in friends to help with the defense. This part of the game has microtransactions with real money to speed up certain elements. In October 2015 the console versions were updated with a second multiplayer mode as a successor to Metal Gear Online. There are several game modes where players or team of players fight each other. It has a safe hub inspired by the single-player Africa map, but expanded, where all weapons and abilities can be tested with unlimited ammo before accessing a lobby to play the game.

Summary: Metal Gear Solid (original Japanese name: Metal Gear: Ghost Babel) for GameBoy Color is not the same game as the popular Playstation/PC installment of the series. It is not set within the storyline of Metal Gear series, but instead tells an unrelated episode featuring the same hero - special agent Solid Snake. A secret government project, codenamed "Babel", attempts to revive the Metal Gear project - development of a highly destructive mech weapon. But an organization known as Gindran Liberation Front hijacked the Metal Gear prototype, without which any further development would be useless. Solid Snake is sent to infiltrate Outer Heaven, a location not entirely unfamiliar to him, and to retrieve the prototype.
The game is similar in style and gameplay to early Metal Gear games. It is viewed from top-down perspective, and its gameplay is mostly based on stealth. Snake has to sneak past the guards, using various tactics to distract them or to kill them silently. Weapons, gadgets, and moves are all similar to those used in the other Metal Gear Solid game. From time to time Snake will also encounter bosses whom he will have to defeat in order to proceed to the next area. Virtual Missions for Snake are also included in this release.

Summary: After the events of the third Metal Gear Solid game, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, Naked Snake isolates himself from the United States and sets up home in Colombia. Here, he creates Militaires Sans Frontières (Soldiers without Borders), a private military group that provides support for countries in need. Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker's story will explain the events which lead to Militaires Sans Frontières becoming Outer Heaven in later games and also see him finally accepting his role as Big Boss. Snake is still struggling with the guilt over the murder of a person who was very close to him.
One day, Snake is introduced to Ramón Gálvez, a peace teacher, and his student, Paz Ortega. The two want to ask for Militaires Sans Frontières hand in helping the country of Costa Rica. Recently, an unknown armed force with high-tech weapons has been creating trouble around the country and because Costa Rica's constitution forbids a military army there's nothing anybody can do about it. Snake at first refuses to help, believing that it may cause more tension in Latin America, which many believe is the centerpiece of maintaining power in the East and West. But after being presented a tape recorder by Gálvez which accidentally recorded a conversation between two women, Snake agrees, believing that one of the voices on the tape belongs to The Boss herself. Snake then sets out on a journey, a journey to not only bring peace back to the land of Costa Rica, but also bring peace upon himself.
Peace Walker is set between the events of Snake Eater and the original Metal Gear. Snake is controlled via the analog stick and the rest of the buttons vary depending on the type of button configuration you choose; shooter type, action type, or hunter type. Gameplay consists of that usually seen in the Metal Gear series, which is stealth-base movement. That doesn't mean you always have to be stealthy though, if you want you can just let go and shoot up your enemies with different weapons ranging from the M16A1 to a Stun Rod. Cutscenes are presented in an artistic comic book style similar to that of Portable Ops, with some being interactive.
Near the start of the game you will be given a central mother base to use for a number of different things. It is here where you can save your game, develop weapons, and embark on quests. At the Mission Selector screen you can replay previous missions to gain a higher score and also participate in extra ones not necessary to the main story. Cutscenes in which you have watched throughout the main campaign can be seen once again. Developing and upgrading weapons is done by spending currency known as GMP in which you obtain doing quests. At Mother Base you will be able to assign your MSF staff into different teams depending on their abilities and skills. Putting the right people in the right place will open up more opportunities to develop more items and weapons.
Multiplayer in the game is limited to ad-hoc mode and co-op. All story missions can be played with up to two people and the other co-op missions with four people. After completing certain missions and meeting certain requirements, Snake will be able to head to an island where you and some friends can engage in hunts against monsters from Capcom's Monster Hunter series.

Summary: In 1981, a sequel to Pac-Man was introduced in the form of his girlfriend, Ms. Pac-Man. This sequel continued on the "eat the dots/avoid the ghosts" gameplay of the original game, but added new features to keep the title fresh.
Like her boyfriend, Ms. Pac-Man attempts to clear four various and challenging mazes filled with dots and ever-moving bouncing fruit while avoiding Inky, Blinky, Pinky and Sue, each with their own personalities and tactics. One touch from any of these ghosts means a loss of life for Ms. Pac-Man.
Ms. Pac-Man can turn the tables on her pursuers by eating one of the four Energizers located within the maze. During this time, the ghosts turn blue, and Ms. Pac-Man can eat them for bonus points (ranging from 200, 400, 800 and 1600, progressively). The Energizer power only lasts for a limited amount of time, as the ghost's eyes float back to their center box, and regenerate to chase after Ms. Pac-Man again.
Survive a few rounds of gameplay, and the player will be treated to humorous intermissions showing the growing romantic relationship between Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man, leading all the way up to the arrival of "Junior".

Summary: Myst V: End of Ages is the final wrap-up of the successful Myst saga. It begins several years after the events of Uru, To D'ni, and Path of the Shell. This final chapter starts in the Age of K'veer, where Atrus, the creator of the linking books, lived in both Myst and Riven.
Players of previous Myst games learned of the D'ni, the people whose world died due to wrong-doings and neglect. Meet again an older and discouraged Yeesha, the daughter of Atrus and Catherine, who implores you to reconstruct a powerful tablet comprised of 4 parts. Explore beautiful Ages to find the pieces that will make the whole, solving puzzles which require logic and deduction. Once the tablet is reconstructed, it will be up to you to make the right choice .. Revive the D'ni world .. or destroy it. Three distinct endings can occur depending upon your final decision.
Besides RealMyst, the remake of the original Myst, this is the only game in the series to use real-time 3D which allows you to move fluidly throughout scenery that is alive with movement. Using new technology, facial expressions and movements are rendered by motion-capturing the faces of real actors and actresses as they spoke and then combining the result with the graphically rendered characters.
The interface is mouse-drive in point-and-click fashion traditional to the 4 previous games, but with options to play in "classic" or "free move" mode. An original, fully-orchestrated musical score compliments the gameplay.
