Summary: One of the most popular and influential games of the 1980's, Pac-Man stars a little, yellow dot-muncher who works his way around to clear a maze of the various dots and fruit which inhabit the board.
Pac-Man's goal is continually challenged by four ghosts: The shy blue ghost Bashful (Inky), the trailing red ghost Shadow (Blinky), the fast pink ghost Speedy (Pinky), and the forgetful orange ghost Pokey (Clyde). One touch from any of these ghosts means a loss of life for Pac-Man.
Pac-Man can turn the tables on his pursuers by eating of the four Energizers located within the maze. During this time, the ghosts turn blue, and Pac-Man can eat them for bonus points. This only lasts for a limited amount of time, as the ghosts' eyes float back to their center box, and regenerate to chase after Pac-Man again.
Survive a few rounds of gameplay, and be treated to humorous intermissions between Pac-Man and the ghosts.

Summary: Pac-Mania is a variation on the game Pac-Man. You need to guide Pac-Man around a maze and eat all of the dots on the board in order to proceed on to the next round. Numerous, multi-colored ghosts also roam the maze trying to stop you. If you eat one of the power pellets in the maze, the ghosts will temporarily turn blue and run from you. Pac-Man can earn bonus points by eating the ghosts when they are in this state. The maze is now shown in isometric perspective and is larger than screen which will scroll to follow the action. To help get out of tight spots, Pac-Man now has the ability to jump. But be careful, because some of the ghosts have learned this trick as well and you could end up in a mid air collision!

Summary: Recently, strange murders began to occur in the quiet Japanese town Inaba. People are found dead under mysterious circumstances, and rumors say that something very wrong is going on with local TV system. A high school student moves into town, living at the house of his uncle, a police detective named Ryotaro Dojima. Shortly after his arrival, a TV announcer is found dead, her body hanging on a TV antenna. A while later, the student who discovered the victim is found dead as well. The new student and his friends accidentally discover that a parallel world exists within the realm of television, populated by supernatural creatures known as Shadows. The young people also find out that their own Shadow Selves are able to grant them unique powers. They must travel into that mysterious world and find out who is responsible for the murders.
Persona 4 is a Japanese-style role-playing game with light social simulation elements, similar in concept to its predecessor. The player controls a party of characters who must solve the crimes by venturing into the TV world and exploring its dungeons. Each dungeon is associated with a potential victim and carries a unique theme; their layouts, however, are randomly generated. Enemies are visible on screen, and contact with them leads to turn-based battles, which heavily rely on exploiting enemy weaknesses and unleashing powerful attacks after having successfully knocked them down. As opposed to the previous game, the player can issue direct commands to the main character's companions during battles. Similarly to other Persona games, characters' abilities and attributes change by merging them with supernatural beings known as Personae, which can also be fused at special locations to create more powerful ones.
Like the previous installment, the game is stretched across an entire school year, strictly following a real calendar, each day divided into different periods (school, after school, evening, etc.). The protagonist can interact with other characters, study, join clubs, take part-time jobs, etc. Spending time with characters builds up Social Links, which grant the player benefits when creating new Personae, unlock skills for companions, and increase the protagonist's own attributes (Understanding, Diligence, Courage, Knowledge and Expression); these attributes, in turn, influence further interaction and character-building.

Summary: Persona 4 Arena is a 2D fighting game that continues the story of 2008's Persona 4. The protagonist, now canonically named Yu Narukami, returned to the city after the events of the last game and intends to visit his friends in Inaba during Golden Week. When he arrives however, the mysterious Midnight Channel returns and advertises a fighting tournament that will pit him and his friends against each other. The investigation team is quickly reinstated and they enter the TV world to discover why the channel has returned and what happened to their friends who have gone missing.
The story mode allows the player to pick between one of several characters and experience the story from all of their perspectives before the actual final battle is unlocked. Each fight in the game is interrupted by scenes that feature dialogue and just plain text, kind of like how one would design a visual novel. The game also includes several character from Persona 3.
The combat is based on mapping light and heavy attacks to each button. The character can however also perform light and heavy persona attacks, which summon a persona unto the field to attack. Both regular attacks and persona moves can be strung together into combos for dealing more damage to an opponent. The game also features an auto-combo for each character, which allows players to do a basic combo that can even end in a special attack, by repeatedly tapping a single button. Besides that, the gameplay also features a few elements taken from the Persona role-playing games, such all-out attacks that knock enemies back while you charge at them, or one-more cancels, which interrupt your combo while knocking your opponent up in a way that allows you start a second one.
The game features a variety of modes, such as a lengthy tutorial that explains all the options, a "challenge" mode where you are asked to perform advanced combos and a "score attack" mode where fighting comes second to getting the most points, as well as standard features like Versus and Practice modes.

Summary: Inside a casino, during one of their heists, the group known as Phantom Thieves of Hearts is cornered by the police. Unable to escape, the leader of the group (the game's protagonist) is put under arrest, and goes into interrogation. Thus he begins to tell his story. After defending a woman from being harassed by a powerful politician, the 16-year-old protagonist is charged with assault and put on probation, which results in expulsion from his school. Following this, the protagonist is transferred to Shujin Academy in Tokyo, being forced to live at a coffee shop by the name of Cafe Leblanc, under the supervision of a friend of his parents, Sojiro Sakura. After going to school and making a couple of friends, is when the story truly starts.
Persona 5, like its predecessors Persona 3 and Persona 4, takes course during a whole school year and has elements of both social simulator and dungeon crawler. During day time, the player must attend classes, and can choose to spend his free time doing various side activities, like playing sports, fishing, exercising at the gym, watch T.V., going to the movies, going out with friends, taking part-time jobs and so on. There is a new game mechanic, the Confidant system, which is akin to the Social Link system present in previous games, whose sole purpose is to increase interaction with other characters and building relationships. The stronger the bonds with others, the stronger the benefits (usually related to the Personas themselves). This time around, and in reference to older entries in the Shin Megami Tensei franchise, the Personas are obtained through the negotiation system, where the player characters speak with the demons that are fought, and try to persuade them to join the party, through several dialogue options. Players can also demand money or items from the creature instead. The Persona fusion system is still in place, allowing the player to create more powerful Personas by fusing existing ones, while in the Velvet Room. Personas are obtained by visiting Palaces, the dungeons in this game, which are areas given physical form by the desires of corrupt individuals. Unlike previous entries, these dungeons are not procedurally generated, thus having the same layout each time they're visited. Also returning from the first Persona game are guns, which have limited ammo.
The visual presentation is based on the picaresque theme on which the story is founded upon, and is very blatant in the U.I. screens. The thematic color for Persona 5 is red, just like Persona 3 had blue for its main color theme, and Persona 4 had yellow. The game's soundtrack incorporates acid jazz elements, as well as hard rock elements during boss battles, making it distinct from previous titles.

Summary: After escaping from a dangerous planet in the original Pikmin, Captain Olimar has made it home safely but only to discover that his employer, Hocotate Freight, is bankrupt. In order to save the company, Olimar and his assistant Louie now return to the planet where the Pikmin live, a planet closely resembling the Earth. Their goal is to locate and bring back as many treasures as possible, which can then be sold to bring Hocotate Freight out of bankruptcy.
Gameplay is similar to the previous game. You control Olimar or Louie, however you are not able to accomplish much of anything by yourself. To help out, you can command the Pikmin, a plant like creature that lives on this planet. The Pikmin are able to perform a variety of tasks, such as moving obstacles, engaging in battle, and dragging treasures back to your ship. There are several different varieties of Pikmin, each type having specific abilities and characteristics (red Pikmin are immune to fire, blue Pikmin can swim, yellow Pikmin can be thrown far, purple Pikmin are stronger, and white Pikmin are fast and poisonous to foes if eaten by these). You can command up to 100 Pikmin at a time, and will need to take advantage of each type of Pikmin unique abilities in order to recover treasures and get past the many deadly creatures as well as obstacles.
A two-player game mode is also included along with the story mode. In this game mode one player controls red Pikmin, the other controls blue. The goal is to either be the first player to collect four marbles even by stealing them from your opponent.

Summary: Players return to the region of Unova for Pokémon Black Version 2, the sequel to Pokémon Black Version. The story takes place two years after the events of the previous game. This time there are new locations available, and the game includes Pokémon from earlier games as well as the new ones introduced in Pokémon Black and White. A total of 277 Pokémon can be caught in this game.
Two years have passed since the events of Pokémon Black Version. You are a new Pokémon trainer in Aspertia City, just starting on your journey. Team Plasma hasn't been seen for the last two years, and everything's back to normal...or so it seems. Eventually, you run into Plasma grunts and learn that Team Plasma never broke up at all. The hero of the previous game has left Unova, and it's up to you and your best friend to stop them.
Some changes have been made to Unova. One of the Gym Leaders from the previous games was replaced by an NPC also from those games. Two new Gym leaders debut, as Cilan, Chili, Cress, and Brycen temporarily retire from their Gyms, so two new Badges are introduced (the previous ones cannot be obtained). Pokéstar Studios allows you to star in your own movies. The Pokémon World Tournament (PWT) allows you to battle against all regional Champions and Gym Leaders (except Koga), and also has a download feature that allows you to download tournament data for special events, such as the real Pokémon World Championships, so you can play against computer opponents based on the contestants.

Summary: Together with Pokémon Pearl, this game starts the 4th generation of the Pokémon series. Set in a new region, Sinnoh, it includes 107 new Pokémon, bringing the total up to 493. It is also the first online game in the series, featuring Wi-Fi battles and trading. Players can collect badges, challenge the Elite Four, and become the ultimate Pokémon master.
The game continues the basic idea of previous Pokémon games - you, a new trainer, set out on a quest to catch every Pokémon and defeat the Pokémon league. Along the way, you will foil the plots of the evil organization Team Galactic, who seek to use a trio of legendary Pokémon to awaken a sleeping titan with the power to control time. There are many sidequests and other activities along the way, including the Battle Tower and catching other legendaries.
The core Pokémon series features an RPG turn-based battle system. Each monster can learn up to four attacks. In a single turn, the two opponents select their attacks, and the one with the higher Speed attacks first. The amount of damage is influenced by the Attack and Defense stats. In the past, attacks were automatically classified as Physical or Special based on their elemental type. In Diamond and Pearl, each attack can be individually categorized, so attacks which use natural elements are Special, and those which use simple force are Physical.
The Pokémon Contests from Ruby and Sapphire return, with many new features. In addition to the attack performance, where you must try to impress the judge with flashy moves, you'll also dress up your Pokémon and dance in time to music. Diamond and Pearl also bring back the real time system from Gold and Silver, where day and night are reflected in your game. Some Pokémon are only catchable during certain times.

Summary: Pokémon FireRed takes the player into the world of Kanto on a mission to catch all of the 350 pokémon for Pokémon researcher Prof. Oak. Pokémon are animal-looking creatures that pretty much form this and all the other games in the Pokémon Universe. The challenge is to capture them all using pokéballs and an own set of these strange creatures, as well as training them for the ultimate battle, the Elite Four!
The game is a remake of the original Pokémon Red and offers the same diversity of gameplay as the original. However, this game has got everything the player might miss in the classic game: updated art and graphics, new pokémon, and perhaps the most interesting: the wireless adapter. This allows the player to trade wireless with friends within a limited radius. In addition to all of this, the player may explore a new set of islands outside of Kanto, the Sevii Islands! Enter the union room, make a dream team or explore the world of Kanto in this epic gameplay experience from the Universe of Pokémon.

Summary: Pokémon White Version along with Pokémon Black Version mark the 5th generation of the main series. This version exclusively features the legendary Pokémon Zekrom. The player's objective, once again, is to collect all of the monsters and become the best trainer in the world. The player and two of his or her best friends get three Pokémon as presents from Professor Juniper, and each has to choose one. These are: fire-type Tepig, grass-type Snivy, and water-type Oshawott. Now a whole new world awaits the player to explore and all-new Pokémon to catch.
This generation marks a few significant changes to the tried formula. For the first time the Pokémon are fully animated during battles, along with new attack and status-change animations. The graphics have been polished and revamped, experimenting with a whole new 3D perspectives in certain areas. There are also two new types of battles: rotation battle in which you can swap between three Pokémon at any given time allowing for more strategy, and 3vs3 battles where three monsters fight alongside and help each other. Implemented are also changing seasons - certain seasons allow for different Pokémon to encounter and make some areas accessible only at a given time.
Aside from the legendary Pokémon to catch, choosing the version of the game gives you the opportunity to visit an exclusive area. The White Version features the green area of White Forest.

Party Pokémon can go through a 'Super Training' regimen that increases stats and bond with their trainer using the 'Pokémon-amie' widget, by playing minigames, interacting and eating Poképuffs. A new type of evolution, the 'Mega Evolutions' can now temporarily boost some Pokémon's stats by using a Mega Stone. Mega Pokémon not only have higher stats, different typing and new abilities, but also have a different look.

Summary: You play a god, gaming against other gods in a celestial game of conquest. To win, you must help your chosen people take over the world and wipe out the vermin who worship that other god.
Each god starts out with a single human, dumped into the middle of the wilderness. Sometimes there is inhabitable land in sight, sometimes not. To get a chance to win, you must change the landscape, creating flat land for your followers to build on. The more followers you have, the more powerful you will be, so take care of them. Build as fast as you can, because the other god is doing the same.
When you have enough followers, you can make the leader of your people into a hero. He will then go around the land you have built, literally taking strength from the people into himself, and working his way toward the enemy. When he gets there, he will engage in holy warfare upon your enemy's people. He will burn; he will kill. And he won't stop until they're all dead... or he is.
But you don't have to let your people have all the fun; the gods have other tools as well. You can drown your enemies one at a time with your land lowering powers, submerge their towns in swamps, or raise a volcano in the middle of their best farmland. Even better, you can flood the land and drain all the people who didn't build on high ground.
And when you win, you'll have 500 more worlds to conquer. A god's play is just never done.

Summary: Portal 2 draws from the award-winning formula of innovative gameplay, story, and music that earned the original Portal over 70 industry accolades and created a cult following. The single-player portion of Portal 2 introduces a cast of dynamic new characters, a host of fresh puzzle elements, and a much larger set of devious test chambers. Players will explore never-before-seen areas of the Aperture Science Labs and be reunited with GLaDOS, the occasionally murderous computer companion who guided them through the original game. The game's two-player cooperative mode features its own entirely separate campaign with a unique story, test chambers, and two new player characters. This new mode forces players to reconsider everything they thought they knew about portals. Success will require them to not just act cooperatively, but to think cooperatively. Extensive single player: Featuring next generation gameplay and a wildly-engrossing story Complete two-person co-op: Multiplayer game featuring its own dedicated story, characters, and gameplay Advanced physics: Allows for the creation of a whole new range of interesting challenges, producing a much larger but not harder game Massive sequel: The original Portal was named 2007's Game of the Year by over 30 publications worldwide

Summary: Power Stone 2 adds heaps of new characters and environments to the already established crew, however there are now 4 players doing battle at a time in both single and multiplayer modes.
This time, the top 2 from every round (in other words the two that survive each fight of 4 players) progress to the next round. And after a few rounds, you will battle it out with huge Bosses that take up most of the screen.
There are plenty of new power-ups that litter each arena (including guns, hammers, extra power stones and plenty more). You can also hop into a gun turret for extra blasting fun. And of course, the Power Stones are available to use.

Summary: When Tommy, a garage mechanic, defends his girlfriend in a bar fight in a Native American reservation in Oklahoma, the entire bar, along with everyone inside, is sucked into a shuttlecraft. They are transported into The Sphere, an enormous, organic alien ship. Tommy is set free by one of the denizens and his task is to save his girlfriend Jen and grandfather Enisi, and find out what the meaning of The Sphere is.
This 3D-shooter, based on a modified version of the Doom 3 engine, takes place entirely inside the gigantic ship. As a combination of organic and cybernetic structures, gravity is defied: with the proper grids activated, you can walk on walls and ceilings. There are also multiple dimensions inside the ship you can cross using portals. During his quest, Tommy struggles with his Native American lineage. The ghost-like hawk Talon is always on your side and you sometimes cross over to another land to get help from your grandfather. Tommy can also shift to Spirit Walk, an alternate dimension in the game to get past obstacles and solve puzzles. When you die, you are also transported to another realm where you have to shoot lost souls with your spirit bow before being sent back. Your new health and spirit status will be based on your performance there.
The weapons Tommy uses are usually organic, with secondary fire functions. The arsenal includes a wrench, a rifle, crawlers, an acid sprayer, an auto cannon, a leech gun (chargeable with fire, ice, red orbs or lightning), a rocket launcher and the spirit bow. Certain parts of the game require you to explore large areas in a flying pod. You can use it to engage enemies or use the tractor beam to move objects. Navigation, often with a distinct lack of direction, is reminiscent of Descent then. Puzzles usually require you to decipher codes, activate switches and find entrances.
The game supports OpenAL and EAX HD surround sound, and multiplayer games for up to eight players in duel or team deathmatch. Although the game is developed by Human Head Studios, it is produced and was originally designed by 3D Realms.

Summary: While the Sultan of Persia is fighting a war in a foreign country, his Grand Vizier Jaffar orchestrates a coup d'état. His way to the throne lies through the Sultan's lovely daughter. Jaffar kidnaps her and threatens to kill her if she refuses to marry him. Meanwhile, the man the Princess loves is thrown into the dungeon. He has only one hour to escape from his prison, defeat the guards on his way, and stop Jaffar before the terrible marriage takes place.
Prince of Persia is a 2D platformer that is commonly regarded as a progenitor of the cinematic platform genre. Rather than following the more common jump-and-run mechanics, it focuses on careful advancement through fairly complex levels, emphasizing the protagonist's vulnerability and survival aspect. Rotoscoping technique is used to give more realism to the animation of the characters' movements.
The protagonist must avoid deadly traps, solve some simple jumping and environmental puzzles (such as stepping on pressure plates to raise portcullis), and engage in sword fights with the guards. The player character has an infinite amount of lives, but has to restart at the beginning of a level each time he dies, and must complete the game within an hour. The hero starts with three units of health, which can be replenished with small health potions or permanently increased with large jars.
The Game Boy Color and SNES versions of the game feature additional levels and new enemies. The Genesis version has a new intro, an altered set of graphics and four new levels.

Prinny: Can I Really Be the Hero? PSP
Region: PAL
Date Added: 12 Feb 2018
Summary: As a Prinny, one of the lovable, knife-wielding penguins from the Disgaea series, you have been given the task of searching the netherworld for your master Etna's stolen dessert. A nearly impossible task, due to the numerous demons which populate the netherworld, their quest is made all the more difficult by the Prinny tendency to explode when thrown. Fortunately, Etna has given one of her Prinnies an enchanted scarf which disables their explosive trait. If this Prinny should fall, the next Prinny in line must take the scarf and continue...
A side-scroller, with an occasional 3D perspective (while air attacking), Prinny: Can I Really Be the Hero? gives you 1000 lives to begin this noticeably challenging quest. The Prinny has the standard jump, attack, and leaping attack moves, as well as a number of other maneuvers. Your Prinny can pirouette (spin) along the ground for momentary invincibility, sprint for short distances, jump then slam downward onto foes with a "hip pound" attack, hang onto ledges, and even pick up enemies or explosives and throw them. Occasionally, the player will come across vehicles, such as tanks, which the Prinny can use for limited periods of time.
Between levels you can interact with Etna, several of the Prinnies, and a few other characters at the castle. These characters further the story, give hints, and allow for save functionality. Additionally, players may access in-game replays here, which can be saved after various events. These replays can be transfered to other PSP systems, so that your friends can watch you in action.
Prinny: Can I Really Be the Hero contains two difficulty settings, a standard mode where you die after three hits, and "Hell mode" where it only takes one hit to perish.

Punch-Out!! Wii
UPC: 045496901493

Series: Punch-Out!!
# of Players: 2
Summary: Enter the ring as Little Mac, and get ready to fight your way to the Championships! Take on an assortment of tricky boxers, each one more dangerous than the last. Every boxer you encounter has their own special moves and tricks, and you'll have to rely on your reflexes as well as your fists to beat them all.
Punch-Out!! is a sequel to the NES game of the same name. Players pick up the gloves of Little Mac, a rookie boxer aiming to make his way to the Championships and claim the title belts. He'll have to duke it out with different boxers, each of who has their own special method of attack. Mac can swing his left fist or right fist to punch, and can uppercut, dodge left and right, and duck. Using these moves, he must wait for his opponent's opening, and strike them when they are vulnerable to beat them. If Mac's punches are blocked, he will lose some Stamina. If he loses all of his Stamina, he will become winded and will not be able to punch. Mac will need to dodge some punches before he can attack again.
If Mac performs a punch which catches his opponent off-guard, he will earn a Star. Mac can earn up to three Stars - these can be used to hit with a powerful Star Punch. The more Stars Mac has saved, the more powerful his Star Punch is. However, if Mac is hit even once while he has any Stars, he will lose them all.
After defeating opponents in Career Mode, players can then battle them again in Exhibition Mode. In this mode, there are special goals for the player to achieve, such as finding an opponent's one-hit knockdown spot, completing the fight without becoming winded, or landing all your punches during the fight on your opponent.
Punch-Out!! also includes a two-player versus mode. In this mode, both players play as Little Mac. However, Mac now has a special trick - if the player earns enough 'Giga Mac Juice' (earned by hitting the opponent when they are blue), they can turn into Giga Mac, a monstrous version of themselves with incredible punches, uppercuts and power.
